This site is intended to provide real-time wave information at the Mainland Sea Caves, which is part of the beautiful Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. We only intend to provide real-time information, so please check the weather forecast before going on the water! If you are new to kayaking, knowledge of rescue and safety procedures can be learned from local outfitters.
The following rating system was divised in conjuction with kayak outfitters that routinely guide trips to the sea caves as a general scale for beginning kayakers.
